Week 7

Today I joined a group on Facebook about renting and buying this in Riverside. I needed to be in that group because I need someone to take the lease of my apartment.
So I had to be accepted on the group before. For that I wrote a message to the administrators explaining why I wanted to get in. The I had to make a post describing my apartment with the amienities and all the details. to make it more attractive I post also some pictures of the apartment and the residence

In the introduction I'm explaining what I think about Social Marketing, How it can help me, How I can improve my skills, that's maybe why it has more views.
To increase the views, I should share more often my blog link on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn





5th Week

The first lesson I learned was to be close to your audience, that's why social media have been created for. They've been created for any person to get close to another one. I learn how it is important to listen to your audience and make it feel important. Answer quickly, answer with efficiency, engage with the audience, ask its opinion... Plus the more engaging a post is the more Facebook is gonna share it on the news feed and so increase your potential reach.

The second lesson I learned was to increase my reach by posting on the right time with the right amount. Meaning that according to my target population I must upload my content when the most of it is connected to my platform. The time differs according to the different platforms so it can be tricky if you manage several platforms at once.

The third lesson I got from the case study is that a communication on social media must be visual. Which was interesting is that lesson crossed with my consumer behavior class which taught us the 6 stimuli to reach the "yes/buy button" in the reptilian brain, and one of those stimuli was visual. Users brains work fast and don't really take time to rationally think when it comes to social media, that's why visual posts reach better.

My Social Network Thoughts

About my blog stats:



My posts have been seen several times, and I think that the views are depending about how many times I post it on the social medias llike facebook twitter. Posts with pictures and videos are the most seen articles.

My Facebook account is the most powerful media because it's the most used media and everyone is on it and spend time on it on a daily basis.

My twitter Account is not really powerful because the posts are not that attractive and reachable because of the small audience.

LinkedIn is really powerful. I'm using it every day, several times/hours a day. Indeed, being seeking for an internship I can contact evryone I want and send them a message to catch them up or to be connacted with the right person.

Why do you think that post had the most views?  What can you do to increase views to your blog and increase the number of followers?

I think that to increase the views and the number of followers, I should put some vidéos, links, images in my articles. 
These kind of supports attract people and give more impact to the article

Also I should post more often on facebook and twitter about my blog. Like daily post and then weekly post with some reminders.

Twitter is an easy way to communicate and to promote, but the length of the messages is restricted

I'm taking this class because nowadays the Social Medias are fully part of our life. through them you can advertise, you can sell, you can influence, and sometimes controle the consumers' purchases
